remington 1100 with b square mount on top ?
have a remington 1100 magnum reciever, i just got a fully rifled barrel and i fixed a b square scope mount on top of the reciever, i hear u dont aim a shotgun but u point it, is that peace of metal on top of the reciever gonna efect my acuracy for duck goose ,ext i guess i can still use the scope for turkey (the question its always if i dont wanna remove the whole mount just the scope
I got the same mount for my Mossberg 500 (great for rifled slugs). I suggest you just remove the whole mount when your hunting ducks & geese and use a smoothbore barrel, it's easy enough. I find it more of a pain in the butt removing the scope from the mount. Every time you remove the scope, you'll need to re sight it. By removing the whole mount it's little-no effort to re-sight it
