Mosin Nagant Synthetic Rifle attachments?
I purchased a aynthetic stock for my M91/30, and now I am thinking about either utilizing it as a scoped rifle or buying a mojo sight for it.
If I go with scoped, I was thinking of buying one of those tri-rail systems you supposedly hook onto it, no gunsmithing required. My only problem is, would that fit easily onto the synthetic stock, being as how the whole shape of the stock is different than the wooden stock I have packed safely away.
Assuming you want to maximize accuracy at distance, go with the scope. At www.cheaperthandirt.com they have single top mount rails that fit. They also sell the synthetic stocks so you can ask a customer service rep about compatibility issues with various products. But if I were you, I would just go with the one piece scope mount they sell. Of course, Simo Haya sniped Russians with iron sights on a carbine. So its more about training than gear really.
