What is the best way to mount an EOTech HWS on a Romanian AK 47?

I have seen various mounts available, including the side rail scope mount, receiver scope mount, and gas tube scope mount. I would like to know what is recommended as far as maintaining zero and the functionality of the weapon sight is concerned.

Receiver cover mounts are junk, as the receiver cover is not solidly attached to the receiver and jiggles about some.

The gas tube mounts work in certain situations, but you need a LER or pistol eye relief scope, as it's so far forward. It may work with the holographic scope.....but I'd check for people using this application before buying one.

The side rail is the only reliable and workable mount for an AK with a standard glass tube magnifying scope. How you would do this with a HWS I don't know. Contact L3 and have them tell you if their application is being used on AKs.

Isn't there a mount that replaces the rear sight? That would be ideal and I think they are made for the AK...
