What is best ammo for my shotgun?
I have a 2000 Ithica model 37 featherweight TurkeySlayer with a smooth barrel and a riffled improved cylender choke tube for which I use for deer hunting. I have a BCA red dot scope on it. I have been using 2 3/4 Rimington Slugger. My gun will shoot 3" shells. I am considering using Brenneke K.O.'s. Any advise on these or something else? I do not wanna spend $15/ box for 5 shells.
Brenneke K.O Slugs are my favorite...... I have fired over 300 of those in the last year.... A local sporting goods store had those on sale for $1.95 a box and needless to say I bought every box on the shelf.... Now they are at the regular price of $4.95 for a box of 5 2 3/4 inch slugs......... These slugs rock!... I haven't had any problems hitting a target to 100 yards with open iron sights on my smooth bore shotgun.... They are accurate and the recoil is manageable.....
