best battle tower strategy for pokemon ruby/saph?
in ruby version i've tried a few times to get to 100 straight battle tower victories in the level 100 mode. My team seems pretty beast already but i always get stopped around 55 wins (1-35 are so easy it's boring). whenever i lose it seems like a fluke, like last time i lost, my swampert hurt itself in confusion 3 straight times after MISSING with an earthquake against a ninetails (i guess it had something to lower my accuracy, but that's such BS!)
here is my team (i open battle with salamence)
Salamence (DRG/FLY) - intimidate - king's rock
dragon claw
fire blast
crunch
fly
Crobat (PSN/FLY) - inner focus i think - scope lens
sludge bomb
fly
hyper beam
confuse ray
Swampert (GRND/WTR) - torrent - focus band
surf
earthquake
ice beam
strength
the problems i've came across is walrein against crobat and salamence obviously, and crobat is absolutely screwed in a 1 on 1 with an aggron (steel/rock).

lol, Crobat does not need Hyper Beam xD.
as for your actual team, as you get higher and higher your gonna need properly EV trained Pokemon since normally trained ones aren't good enough. And in my opinion. you might want to give Swampert Leftovers instead of Focus Band. and Crobat? Really? there are much better Pokemon out there. Why not add a Metagross, Milotic, Walrein, or Alakazam? You should have a Physical one, a SP.ATK one and one for defence. Get ready for all types of situations.
My team when i played---> Salamance (adamant) fly, earthquake, dragon claw, and brick Break
Alakazam (modest) psychic, thunderbolt, fire punch/ice punch, calm mind
Milotic (calm) surf, ice beam, hypnosis, recover
I'll admit i never got all the way to 100 but i did get to around 88 wins.
