Higher mount rings for larger objective lense?
So I was just wondering if a 50mm objective lenses scope will fit properly onto a medium height mount rings, or do I need to get the higher ones?
In other word, does this scope

You definitely need the "High" mounts.
Medium won't do for this 50mm scope.
One of the Reviewers of your scope (on the website -- the one from Feb 13th ) actually says that he got the "high" scope mounts, and says he was glad that he did --- since he only had about a 1/4" clearance left. His barely fit --- so definitely go with the high mounts.

I have mounted several scopes with the 50mm Objective lens. They almost always take the high mounts, and then seem to just barely clear the barrel by a fraction of an inch.
If you get the similar scope with the 40mm Objective lens, then the medium rings may work, but the 50 mm lense almost always requires the high mounts.
