Any of ya'll have a "Pet" Gun, one you won't sell under any circumstance?
I have bought, and sold more guns that I can honestly keep even a remote count on. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 100. ( I went though a "manic" phase where I was trading guns nearly every month)
Mine is a sporterized 1917 Enfield 30-06 with an old Weaver K4 scope on top. I have had that rifle since I was 10, it was the one I was taught to hunt with. And while it is semi-retired, I still bring her out into the woods from time to time.
Just curious what guns other fellow hunters find are irreplaceable.
what's up with this "just pick one" concept? Just because I only have one gun I currently consider an heirloom, doesn't mean I would expect everyone else to. Shoot should I ever have kids, maybe they will consider my Guide Gun and Bisley as heirlooms.
Yes a few like my Winchester model 67a that my dad taught all 4 of his boy how to shoot with, my dad's 2nd year of production Ruger Bearcat, a Walther P-38 brought back from the war, a Colt Trooper MKIII that my oldest brother carried in Vietnam while with Special Forces and a Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt that I've had for way to many years now.
