I own a remington model 11, 12 gauge shotgun and i can't figure out what a symbol means on the side???????
on the side of the gun engraved in the metal it says USA and next to it is a bomb with a lit fuse, does anyone know what that means, my father told me it might have had somethin to do wit the army.......
That is a U.S. Military Ordinance Mark/Stamp
Any weapon with this mark was in was at one time issued to the Ordinance Department of the U.S. Army. The Ball with the Flames was their departmental mark.....
