Im STILL not good at MW2. Advice?
I check my corners, stay behind cover, don't rush around, keep my aim, but I STILL just cant get it.
My custom class I usually use is
Scar-H w/Grenade Launcher or ACOG scope or Thermal Scope
SPAS-12 w/Red dot sight
Throwing Knife
Flashbangs
Scavenger pro
Hardline pro or Cold-Blooded pro
Commando pro or Ninja pro
Martyrdom
It's hard to tell based on your class alone; send me a FR and I'll play with you a bit and see what you need to fix; my GT is TG Sun Tzu.
Edit: Okay, and if you don't want to do that, I'll give you some general advice, since the guy below me has no idea what he's talking with.
First off, the SPAS is an amazing weapon. Best shotgun, IMO, but its true power is only there with Stopping Power as a red perk. Not to mention you don't really need cold blooded unless you're playing Hardcore.
The Throwing knife should be replaced by a claymore or semtex. Much easier to get kills. In fact, the throwing knife is more of a novelty item in this than anything. It's fun to mess around with, but it is far less effective than simply aiming and shooting.
Scar-H is a decent gun, but lacks a good magazine size. Put extended mags on it, or switch to the casual-gamer friendly M4A1 rifle. The M203 Grenade Launcher is a good attachment for weeding out campers or guys that have run around corners, but if you can't aim on the ironsights (practice ironsights anyways) use the RDS or Holo sight. ACOG and thermal scopes are (IMO) awful for assault rifles, and I have never succeeded with either on an AR.
Flashbangs work, but could be switched with stuns. They are thrown faster.
Scavenger works if you don't die often and play well, but if not, use marathon or better yet, unlock sleight of hand pro. The faster sight aiming really helps with direct conflicts.
As for the third perk, your current setup works fine. Commando's good as a backup, and ninja's always nice for the footsteps. If you find yourself getting killed by claymores, make sure to have a sitrep class handy. This will tell you where the claymores are, where the enemy is camping from a distance, and if you unlock pro, it makes it easier to hear the enemy sneaking up on you.
To the bottom player: That Scar-H is an assault rifle. There is no grip attachment.
Also, while cover is great, the game's been out long enough for most of the good cover to become expected. Inconspicuous places are better. For example, just laying still prone, in the grass out in the open on underpass works like a charm. There's cover and concealment; either one works, though not many take advantage of the latter.
