Left-handed remington 700 scope base?

I just bought a Left-handed Remington 700 CDL in a 7mm Rem Mag. Now I need to outfit it with a scope.

First, I need to choose a scope base, but I've never owned a tubesight before. I know I'd prefer a one-piece base, and I'd rather it be a standard/dual dovetail. I really don't like rail systems. I just don't see anything offhand that I know will fit my rifle. Any suggestions?

As an aside, suggestions for scopes in the $200 range would be appreciated, but I'm mostly focused on getting the base right now.

The Leupold come with a lifetime warranty, and I would prefer a Leupold or Nikon (even a low-end one) to a lesser brand.
