Airsoft scope rings - How to know if they fit?
I have gone a long way in the world of airsoft since I was but a little noob and knew nothing. But, of EVERYTHING, there is still one thing that I do not even remotely understand. I have three questions about airsoft scope rings.
1) What is the difference between weaver and pitcanny scope rings?
2) How can you tell if they will fit on the rail or not?
3) If the answer to #2 is just something like, "You have to be a pro and understand scope rails, there is no easy way to tell", then could you PLEASE inform me as to weather or not the scope rings for the scope in the link below will fit on a 1913 rail?

After a bit of research I think I can answer your questions.
1.) The only difference is in the spacing of the ridges. Most (if not all) things that fit on one system will fit on the other.
2.) There are no/minimal differences between RIS/Weaver/Pitcanny rails. Almost all things should fit. Most rails are built to the 1913 Pitcanny rail specifications.
3.) I am confident it will fit. Enjoy your JG BAR-10!
