Optics that fit Mini 14 rings?
Does anyone have suggestions for optics on the mini 14? Preferably i would like to mount a shorter looking scope on it, somewhat like an acog with minor magnification(3x). I would even be willing to settle for a red dot/reflex sight as long as it fits the rings given by ruger. I'm new to rifles so i don't want to mess around much with installing picatinny rails and such. I'm aware that my options are limited. Price is not a concern.
I just went thru this with my minni 30 (same mounts) pretty much any scope with a 1 in tube will work
that leaves out most red dots and the acog. i ended up getting the picatinny to put my holo sight on. cheaper than dirt has it for about 25$ it attaches to the dovetail on the receiver works well.
