What is the value of my Tikka M658 RH?
I recently purchased a Tikka Model 658 right handed rifle in the .30-06 caliber. The gun appears unfired, with the original box, and Tikka rings in their own separate unopened package. The rifle is 99% both on the bluing and the wood - not 100% as I've purchased it used (although unfired). No dings on anything. Spotless. The wood is absolutely beautiful with a wonderful pattern on both the forearm and butt stock. The rifle has no iron sights and appears to have never had a scope mounted. It has crisp checkering and a palm swell. The rifle is marked as being made in Finnland. The bolt is fitted with the polymer bolt bushing. The action is smooth and tight with no play, very comparable to the newer Model 85 as I've compared both. It is marked as TIKKA M658 RH. The serial number is 602xxx. When was this rifle manufactured and what is it worth? Again, the wood has a beautiful swirling pattern that is incorporated from front to back on the magnificant gun.
