What engine is this? Thinking Bui or Trans...?
My neighbor gives me this engine, Now Im scratching my head! Its old but not that old. What the hell is it? I know GMC/Chev. It looks like it could have original blue, The fuel pump is on the drivers side, The oil filter is on the passenger side/offset from the block-cast extension, The distributor is leaning toward the driver side and is in roughly the same spot as a Chev. The whole thing apiaries to be cast iron. It's a two barrel intake, with a cross manifold. And the alternator is mounted slightly on the drivers side. Looks a little bigger than a small block V8!
sounds like you have a 350 pontiac engine the look a little bigger than a small block chevy. poss. early 70's
