I need help fitting my Harris bipod to my Ruger 10/22 carbine?
I just got a Harris 1A2-BR bipod for my Ruger 10/22 and it does attach to the forward sling mount on the rifle, however the barrell band gets in the way making the bipod uneven.....Do I need some type of adapter??? and if so what kind ???
long shot is right, you need to move your sling stud back away from the barrel band. or take your barrel band off and cut the stock down, while your at it free float the barrel. with a little time and some sand paper you can do wonders to that 10/22, take the trigger assy. apart and get all the machine marks off all the trigger parts, not to much!
theirs allot you can do to it for free to make it a better tack driver. i've got about $1000 into mine and while my friends are shooting at the bulls i take out the staples on their targets @ 100 yards all day long. they love taking me to the range. lol
