Good scope for AR-15?
I have an NC Star Mark III tactical scope now that was a little over 100 dollars. It is a great scope but it only adjusts from 2-7x magnification. I was wondering if anyone knew of a tactical scope with adjustable zoom that zoomed in a little more than that (10x or more) so i could get a clearer view on the bulls eye at 100 yards? I don't want to pay more than a couple hundred dollars for it though. also list any websites where they would sell them. thanks.
This is a REAL AR-15, NOT an airsoft gun, also i do have flip up front and rear iron sights for short range.
www.airgundepot.com There are several scopes that go 6-24x. And a lot of them for under $100 or just a little over.
You are not going to find a good scope for under $500 dollars. For a one hundred yard shot you could use a $6 daisy scope at wal-mart. The site I posted has the scopes you are looking for. Air gun scopes are a lot more sturdier than standard rifle scopes. I have a Remington 700 With a M40A1 Mcmillan Stock and a Leupold Mark IV 10X scope. The scope alone cost more than your entire AR15. This scope would be destroyed in 10 shots on my Spring Piston Air Rifle.
I have hit targets over 500 yards with iron sites on my AR.
