Hi guys, would the Hawke Nite-Eye SR 6-24 x 50 AO IR Rifle Scope fit on a break barrel air rifle?
The scope is 15.8" long, And with Hawke Match Mounts - 2 Piece - 1" 9-11mm High. The scope eye relief is 3.3" . So would all of this fit on my break barrel air rifle??
Spring piston air rifles have a sharp jolt that will destroy a scope not specifically made for air rifles. If it is not an air rifle scope it will come apart form the jolt.
Fit wise, you can get high rings to put a large objective scope on an air rifle.
6-24 is a huge amount of magnification. That much power is suitable for a 1000 meter rifle, not a 50 meter air rifle.
