How much is my pistol worth?
I have a ruger super blackhawk 10 1/2 inch barrel (stainless steel) -it also has a 3x burris scope on it. ballpark idea of its worth? very good condition.
caliber .44 mag
New model - non fluted cylinder and yes it is a 10 1/2 barrel
I've given the thumbs up to the guy that says between $400 and $500. The gun alone would be worth $400 on the used market. The scope proabably adds another $75 on the used market.
Bear in mind, not everyone is crazy about the idea of having a scope on a handgun. I've never owned a scoped handgun, but have tried to shoot one that a friend had. Keeping the crosshairs from jumping all over the place while aiming take a lot of practice (or a decent place to rest your hands).
Stainless guns are worth a bit more thant he blued models. I am sure, with some patience, you could get $500 for the rig if you meet-up witht he right guy (someone that wants to use it for deer or black bear hunting).
