Then the removal bags should be sealed with duct tape, placed inside other asbestos removal bags, and sealed into those bags with duct tape.
If using 6 mil polyethylene plastic sheeting for the disposal of asbestos cement which makes the most sense if the pieces of cement are rather large, the chunks need to be wrapped in two layers of 6 mil polyethylene plastic sheeting and sealed with duct tape.
Each package for the disposal of asbestos cement must be properly labeled to show that the package contains asbestos and that this is hazardous because of the dust. If you are using asbestos disposal bags this will already be printed on the bag. Each package also needs to have the name and address of the person removing the cement as well as the date the material was removed.
The final step is to take the bags and packages of the debris that require disposal and bring them to a landfill that accepts asbestos You should be able to find a list on the internet of landfills that can be used for removing asbestos in your area.
