Flip Open Scope
Featured Flip Open Scope For Sale:
I have a question about an AR-15 that I just bought. My question is (see below). ?
Ok, I bought it new yesterday (new in box). Today I go back to the gun show to buy a scope. I wish I'd taken the gun with me, but I didn't. The sales person asked me if I had a handle attached to the gun, which I don't, I said I just had the factory installed rail. So he sold me a scope that he said would attach to the rail, but it doesn't. It doesn't line up with the notches and also the notches of the gun are rectangular shaped and the grooves of the scope clamps are rounded. What do I need to buy in order to install the scope? The scope is a 3-9x42RE AR-15 scope with flip open covers, and adjustable colored (red or green) cross hair.
OOPS...forgot, the AR is a Rock River
OK, thanks.
I'm assuming that I'll have to take off the front sites too? Because the scope sits level with front site?
I Have the same setup.
The Grunt and Lord Lonewolf have the right answers for you.
I went with a low profile gas block anyway just because it looks better.
