First long board ever....Where to start?
Deck 46.5"L x 9.6"W
Trucks 9" Gullwing Mission Trucks
Wheels 61mm/78a Top Shelf Nineball Wheels
Bearings Abec 5 Greaseball Bearings
Hardware Full Grip Tape w/ Die cut for logo, 1.5" Bolt Pack, 9/16" Flat Risers
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
is that a good board to start with? or is it too long?
-I'm 5'11 180/190 pounds,...- does that matter?
What kind of deck is it? Bamboo, fiberglass and maple, or just maple? Are you going to just be cruising or downhill or both? If you are looking for a longboard to cruise around on and do a little bit of carving, I would go with something a little bit shorter. The longer the board, the bigger the turning radius, so carving isn't quite as easy. I would go with something around 36"- 42". As far as the other components with that board, they are all great quality parts. I wish I could help more, but I need to know more about how you are going to be using the board.
