English Nonfiction assignment help?

This is the assignment:

Find a nonfiction piece (newspaper article, biography, scientific text, essay, journal, documentary, ext.) that discusses one of the themes from 'To Kill A Mockingbird.' Themes can include but are not limited to: maturing or growing up, prejudices, (racial, sexual, social), harming innocents, education, superstition, and courage.

Does anyone have an article or something? It will most likely have to be on the internet, unless i can get a photocopy of it. It also needs to be long enough so i can relate it to the novel, because i have to write two pages about it.

Thanks (:

If I were to do this assignment I would use the most prominent theme, in my opinion, that is portrayed in the novel; prejudice. I would relate the prejudice in the book to a prejudice that is common now. In the book, the blacks were the ones that were victimized by prejudice. A prejudice now that relates to that could be obesity, or any other group that is victimized. From this point I would research, to find an article that supports my theory. For obesity it could be this one...

Then I would proceed to relate this article, about obesity and prejudices, to blacks and prejudices, because that is the prejudice found in To Kill A Mockingbird.
You can see how this theme of prejudice could work with almost anything, it is a very forgiving topic in that way, it is hard to get it wrong when choosing a topic in relation to it. Another tip; when choosing your article try to look into a reputable source such as a newspaper rather than a random site found by Google. Otherwise you may end up with an editorial, an opinionated article which is not a reliable source for your purposes.
