Dot Handle Mount Scopes
is there a ris rail on an l85a1 gun.?

On the top of an l85, i have always seen pictures of it with a carry handle, or a susat scope. If you take the handle/or scope off of the l85a1, is there a normal rail so that you could mount something else on it, or is it some weird English rail that only works for the susat scope and the carry handle. I am going to get a airsoft l85a1, but I would like to know if I would be able to mount my normal red dot sight on the rail, unless it isn't a rail.



Yes, the rail on top of the L85A1(and on the foregrip of the A2), is a standard R.I.S. rail. Make sure the airsoft version you want actually has a RIS on it, as some of the airsoft ones have the sight and rail built into the body and is non-removeable.
